What is CBD?
CBD is short for cannabidiol which is a natural compound derived from the Cannabis Plant. Our CBD that is used in these products is derived from Hemp which is defined as less than .3% THC and grown right in Wyoming.
Does CBD get you high?
CBD is extracted from a cannabis plant, but it is not psycho-active. It may make you feel relaxed or less anxious, but you will not achieve a high if you choose to use a CBD-infused oil or other product.
Do your products contain THC?
Full Spectrum Tinctures/Salves contain the entire range of cannabinoids found in the plant including <.3 THC to meet the requirements of Hemp in the 2018 USDA Farm Bill. In THC-Free Tinctures/Salves the CBD is isolated from all other cannabinoids in the plant and is then in a THC Free state.
How is the Product Used?
CBD Tinctures are typically taken by the ml. Depending on the concentration of CBD in the bottle the milligrams per ml varies. For instance a 1000 mg bottle will be 33.3 mg/ml. It is recommended to start with a dose of 1 ml per day at either 33.3 mg or 66.6 mg. Approximately 20 drops taken under the tongue is close to that ml. Salves can be used as needed.
